Well...

Thu Jan 13, 2005, 6:57 PM
I don't know what to do, after several forum posts and emails to fellow photoshop users I'm still in the same rut as I was before.
I still can't figure out my configuration settings in photoshop and on my monitor(if that is even the problem) and my work is still continuing to lose the color quality it once had with every save of a finished work.
I wish I could find some kind of answer or at least be a little more computer literate...I thought I was but this continues to baffle me and really ruins my creativity- not that I had any before but at least before I was excited about submitting, now I can count on creating relatively okay works in photoshop and submitting them with 90% quality and detail destroyed. It's such a pain in the ass!!!!!
I know I don't have many watchers or many viewers in general of my page but please someone help me.

I'm sorry. Most people think that the only good art anymore is generated by computers, but here's an example of when technology ruins good artwork. I hope you have better luck soon.

It's terrible , I would consider myself a traditional artist but i've gotten so caught up on why a couple artworks just wont look the way i want them to and it all started because i wanted to play around with photoshop. It's unhealthy and I need to get back to the way i used to create work I was always so much more happier with it

U could try one of those "How To" books. i've recently found some photoshop guide books in my university library that ranges from ure basic photoshop for dummies types, to the TIps and Tricks from profesional degitial artists. MAybe U cold lock around ure local libraries for these books they may help.

If it's printing out, see if the print-out colour is the same colour as the screen, if it isn't there's something wrong with your screen, if it is, it's still most probably the screen, but could (?) be the computer itself. I dunno. I haven't really cared much about the colour quality and such because i already have a pretty shitty screen. But ohshitigottagotaketheschoolbusnow. Later.
